Dates to Remember

Here are some important dates of remembrance we recognize each year to honour our Canadian soldiers

November 11th Remembrance Day

´╗┐Remembrance Day is commemorated on November 11th each year and marks the end of World War I in 1918. It may also be commonly known as Armistice Day.

April 9th Vimy Ridge Day

Vimy Ridge Day is a day to commemorate the deaths and casualties of members of the Canadian Corps in the Battle of Vimy Ridge.

June 6th D-Day - the Battle of Normandy

Canada was a full partner in the success of the Allied landings in Normandy ('D- Day'). Determined to end four years of often-brutal German occupation.
