Here are some important dates of remembrance we recognize each year to honour our Canadian soldiers


November 11th Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day is commemorated on November 11th each year and marks the end of World War I in 1918. It may also be commonly known as Armistice Day.

April 9th Vimy Ridge Day

Vimy Ridge Day is a day to commemorate the deaths and casualties of members of the Canadian Corps in the Battle of Vimy Ridge.

June 6th D-Day - the Battle of Normandy

Canada was a full partner in the success of the Allied landings in Normandy ('D- Day'). Determined to end four years of often-brutal German occupation.
