Our new display cases.

Through the public's support of our Catch the Ace lottery, the Barrie Legion, over the last three years, obtained several Display Cases to house uniforms, photos, medals and other items of those who served our nation. Here are the Display Cases containing the uniforms of Veterans who were from Simcoe County. They were made by Mr. Tom Breeson, the owner of MuskyBay Millwork of Port McNicoll. Tom is seen with the newest Display case delivered just this past Tuesday to house the uniform of Pte. Kevin McKay who was killed in Afghanistan in May 2010. The next photo is Legion Member, Doug Cardinal who works for Moores Clothing For Men in Barrie. Doug through his company, obtained all the mannequins and gave his time to professionally "dress" the uniforms for display. The final photo here shows Fred and Beth McKay with Doug on Remembrance Day beside the Display Case housing their son's uniform and photo. We at the Barrie Legion are proud to be paying tribute to those that served our Nation and we thank you for your support.
